An inspired fusion of science and art, Lunar Pendants are an artistic extension of Josh’s NASA grant research into how silica rich regolith, i.e. lunar soil, might one day be used to create blown glass structures on the Moon.
Sparked by but separate from this research, Josh transformed his own simulant regolith into a form of "molten moon dust." He shaped this into jewel-like pendants, each finished with a splash of Platinum leaf. Each unique Lunar Pendant evokes sunlight glinting across the Moon’s surface in the deep black of space.
Each pendant comes with a 20” Sterling silver snake chain. Pendant about 1.5" wide.
