Collection: Ms Green Jeanne Designs
Jeanne Weintraub (Ms Green Jeanne Designs) is a surface designer, graphic artist, product developer and entrepreneur. She has the great fortune to live in the Village of Montague Center, in the heart of the beautiful Connecticut River Valley of Western Massachusetts. Jeanne takes inspiration from our vibrant local farming community, environmental activists, members of the Native American community, biologists, gardeners, and outdoor enthusiasts. A science geek and storyteller at heart, she gets excited about communicating concepts related to sustainability and the natural world. Using digital paint brushes, pencils and pens through the Procreate app on an Ipad, and software programs (Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop), Jeanne produces artwork that can be printed on paper, fabric, and other surfaces Jeanne holds a degree in Environmental Design/Landscape Architecture from Rutgers University—the place that introduced her to the wondrous world of plants and trees. She researches the relationships among plants and animals she illustrates–everything from dinosaur ecology to pollinator-plant relationships, to local mushrooms. |
