Collection: Laureen Shea
Laureen Shea loved making art from childhood to junior college. After a long hiatus she rediscovered her joy of creating on paper around 1995, in a class with Paula Gottlieb. For the next 12 years, she studied once a week with Judy Marz, who taught and nurtured her art. Judy was her mentor in all that that means and more.
Her work has been shown locally at craft fairs, galleries, the Henion Bakery, Village Coop, Mall at Moores Corner, Leverett Crafts & Arts, and the Dakin Arts for Animals. She currently shows at Salmon Falls Gallery in Shelburne Falls, MA. She has work hanging in homes all over the world. Her inspiration comes from gardens and anything else that takes her fancy. Her work has been described as both whimsical and serious.
