Collection: Ceil Rossi

Ceil Rossi lived in Arizona for over 25 years, and it was during this time she discovered gourds, the magical art form of the southwest.
She is the president of the Agawam Community Artists and Artisans and member of the Agawam Cultural Council. Her work can be seen in several galleries around Massachusetts and Connecticut and she has participated and won honors in several fine art shows, such as Paradise City, in Northampton, Ma. She has also taught at the FVAC Farmington, Ct., West Hartford Art League, and Windsor Art Center Windsor, Ct., Spectrum Gallery, Centerbrook, Ct. and at her studio, The Carefree Gourd Gallery in Agawam, Ma.
In addition to exhibiting and teaching she presents a lecture called “From Field to Fine Art” on the history, art and culture of the gourd.
