"I am a professional violinist and music teacher who loves to make and wear jewelry. As a child I remember going to my grandmother's house and sneaking upstairs with my sister to try on all of G.G.'s shoes and jewelry. Later, as a young teenager I loved to gather jingle shells from Long Island's Jones Beach to make necklaces and earrings. I haven't stopped since.

My sense of the many ways colors interact must come from my mother. Growing up, I watched her put all kinds of hues together as she endlessly knit sweaters, hats and mittens for her five children. I, too, love working with the different colors, shapes and textures. Gems and crystals provide hundreds of unique and gorgeous combinations. Each design has a bit of music in it—Like every performance, each piece takes a shape of its own."
